The most complex section
It has long been known that the towers and facade need extensive renovation.
The towers are constructed like a New York skyscraper: a frame of steel girders was enclosed in masonry.
Unfortunately, the rusting steel is bursting the masonry.
This absolutely needs to be renovated - at considerable expense....
 The listed towers need very extensive renovations. According to the experts, they might even have to be dismantled. |  Two windows will get urgent repair in 2025. We needed to find a new specialist but now we are in good standing with this. |  The entrance doors need urgent repair. we are just working on pricing for this step. |

 The steel beams embedded in the masonry are exploding the structure from the inside. |  This part of the towers needs to be renovated. We plan to start the renovation in 2026. |  Restorations are also due on the facade. Here, components are connected with steel bars - now causing the stone to crack. |
 The DOB mandates protecting the public — which we are, of course, happy to comply with. After the construction work is completed, the church will be reopened and will stand again in new beauty. |  In 2025, we will remove the windows and install a temporary safety measure. |
The cost of this construction phase is currently estimated at between €2 million and €2.5 million. We are currently seeking funding from sponsors and foundations.
The planning, investigations and applications for building permits will take months.
Of course, financing must also be secured when construction begins.
